About Me

My photo
Alethea
I have my PhD in literacy education and was an elementary teacher for seven years before that. I am also mom to ten-year old Isadora and seven-year old Lincoln. I'm not trying to do anything drastic in this blog, except to try to share the things that I have time to do because I am a parent that has decided to stay home to raise my children. These are things that I couldn't do when I was working full time, but now I get to enjoy. Sounds pretty simple, doesn't it?! I'm doing this for two reasons. The first: I want to remind other moms who are staying home of all of these moments we might take for granted, and to confirm that our actions make a difference. My second reason: I want to remind myself of the exact same thing. :)
